- Microsoft Outlook: Email management and scheduling
- Using email and instant messaging platforms
- Introduction to computer hardware: monitor, keyboard, mouse, CPU, basic peripherals.
- Operating systems (Windows, maybe Linux basics) — desktop interface, file/folder management, start menu, taskbar
- Basic file operations: create, save, open files; printing; organising folders; password-protecting files.
- Create and format documents: font, size, style (bold/italic/underline), bullets/numbering, indenting.
- Use of advanced features: find/replace, hyperlinks, cover page, blank page/page break.
- Project work: e.g., create a formatted resume, letterhead, etc.
- Data entry, formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, etc.), sorting, chart creation.
- Practical projects: salary sheet, result sheet, age calculation, graphs.
- Create slides, apply design backgrounds, animations/transitions.
- Project work: e.g., deliver a short presentation on a given topic.
- Internet fundamentals: what is the internet, browsers, search engines, web addresses.
- Email setup/use, instant messaging, cloud storage (Google Drive, OneDrive).
